Goat cheese and fig spread might be one of my favorite flavor combinations of all time. The sweet, savory, and salty combination is truly incredible. The pecans give it a little texture and the fresh thyme adds a perfect fall/holiday flair. Serve it up with a warm crusty baguette and you will have people salivating.
Whipped Goat Cheese With Fig Spread
Ingredients
- 8 oz goat cheese
- 1/4 cup whipped cream cheese
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup fig spread
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions
- Blend goat cheese, cream cheese, and oil in a food processor until smooth. Pour into a bowl.
- Microwave fig spread then pour over cheese.
- Top with chopped pecans and fresh sage then serve with a warm crusty baguette cut into slices.
